Aside from the Lions’ 18-5-3 record at home since the beginning of the 2005 season there have been a growing be of youngsters in the stands with some serving as ball girls on the sidelines and more waiting for autographs from the Columbia team after a bet. One of the youth teams at nearly ever game is the Riverdale Lions a local girls’ soccer team made up of players under the age of 11. Before the 2005 season. Riverdale instruct Giorgio Palomasino got in comprehend with Columbia continue coach and asked if his aggroup could be a game.“Kevin was very gracious,” Palomasino recalls. “I thought it would be a good idea for my aggroup to see a local women’s college aggroup and have women role models.
